In today's world, people are constantly overstimulated by technology. While many people I know once thought that technology would make their lives more simple and easier to manage, the opposite has happened. Technology has made life more complicated and as a result often more confusing. Now more than ever, it's important to develop a critical mindset while also cultivating an open heart. Knowing how to create boundaries with technology and looking deeply into where the source of information comes from, is sometimes not so easy to do and see. That's why a mindfulness practice is very important. Through the practice of meditation, the world becomes more clear. By allowing yourself more time to sit, the mind becomes more calm. The body becomes more calm. And throughout the rest of your day it's much easier to come from a place of centeredness.
